What in the world does she mean by Embellished Circles??!!

Well, let me explain....

This is an embellished circle. It is a circle that has been embellished. See! It really is easy-peasy!

In the next couple of weeks, while we are patiently awaiting the reveal of the Inspirational Team layouts, I will share with you different ways to embellish a circle. You will then have some ideas how you can embellish your own circles for January's challenge.

This particular one is a large one, but it will give you some ideas. I have used a Scenic Route journaling block as my base, which has been inked around the edges. Following the shape printed on this, I have added a line of dimensional magic to adhere some beads. I used my paper piercer to line them up as I went.

Next I cut a flower from a piece of Kaisercraft Cabbage Patch patterned paper. I placed a beautiful decorative conch from my stash in the centre. This was then attached it to the journaling block using foam tape to make it pop.

Voila! You now have your first example of an embelllished circle. Think buttons, beads, stamping, painting, sewing...the sky's the limit! Stay tuned for more inspiration in the next few days.

Please leave a comment if you have any questions or suggestions. Sami B-)
