Shhh... The chooks have flown the coop

Shhh....Chookie and all the other Creative Chooks have gone off for the weekend and left me in charge!

If you are looking for some fun this weekend pop on over to Chookscraps. Most of the chooks are fluffing their feathers on retreat...but for those of us stuck in our own nests we have a special cybercrop planned.

The first challenge will go up tonight at about 6pm Queensland time. There will be three scrapping challenges. And as always there will a special game of bingo on Sunday. I will also be asking you all to challenge me! We would love to see you there so fly on over for a look.

Chatter from the Nest

Chatter from the Nest
www.chookscraps.com.au

There's plenty going on at Chookscraps over the next week or two. On Saturday afternoon (5 pm WA time or 7 pm Eastern States time) there is a free class where we will be making a matchbook album. Everyone is welcome.

There is also plenty of new inspiration with our It's Raining Sketches challenge now in it's fifth round. This fortnight the talented chooks are making sketches and samples for ATCs.

Next weekend we have our monthly cybercrop with the usual 3 scrapping challenges, a card challenge, a non-scrapping challenge and a chicken's challenge for our under 16's. There will also be bingo and games of 20 questions so pop on over to the nest to have a look.

Little Break

Hi Everyone. Just wanting you to know that I am taking a little break from Word Pictures for this month. My husband who has been off sailing the seas with the Navy is having a short break alongside in Singapore - so I quickly arrange for Bronte and I to fly up and meet him. So we are off travelling for a little while. It will give me a break .... I can dump Bronte on Daddy' knee and have a well earned rest.... well if you can call site seeing and shopping a rest!!!! It also gives Bronte and Daddy a chance to get to know each other again - three months away is a very long time for a one year old. After Bronte and I get back at the end of the month we will then only have another two months before Daddy comes home. It has been a long trip this one.
Anyway I ramble on - the wonderful Sue Maree is going to be running Word Pictures whilst I am away. Jodi is also having a break from word pictures - she has gone back to full time study for a teaching degree and is in the middle of her practical work experience so she is flat tack too.
Nothing is changing - you can still contact us through the e-mail, Sue Maree will be doing all the running around for us. Thanks Sue Maree.
